Rule of thirds and leading lines






The rule of thirds is basically breaking a picture down into thirds. After you break it down into thirds you should end up with nine squares. There shouldn't be anything in the middle. Your main focus should be on the side or something. Also look at the most important parts in your picture and try to place them on the points.












Leading lines is lines in the picture that leads you to look at another point in the picture. It keeps you looking at one thing to looking at another point in the picture. It sometimes may even go off the picture.
